University of Otago students are studying throughout the midsem break.
“It is a break from university, but not from study,” says one student beer in hand. And, although a lot of students are home, they are continuing to prepare for their upcoming lectures.
A second-year law student says he is “over the moon” that he gets an entire week to do his optional course readings.
Others say they are happy to be away from Dunedin where it’s “a bit warmer,” but their minds are still very much on campus.
